This webinar will include the life story of the blind French Lay Brother (1571-1636) as well as an exploration of his teachings on how we can enter into the Paschal Mystery through contemplation.

Sister Veronica of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, O. Carm. is a nun at the Carmel of Mary in Wahpeton, North Dakota. She was born in 1982 and studied history and French at the University of Maryland before entering Carmel in 2004. She made her Solemn Profession in 2011. For the past four years she has been working on translating one of the works of Venerable John of Saint Samson. This book, entitled Exercise of Loving Solitary Spirits in their Solitudes, is currently being edited for eventual publication by Edizioni Carmelitane. For more information about her monastery and community please visit carmelofmary.org
