Dear Carmelite Family,

The deadline for submitting vocal tracks for the Carmelite virtual choirs has been extended until June 1st for both the Nada Te Turbe and the Salve Regina! REJOICE! You still have time to sing!  Once again, we encourage all of our Carmelite family to take this opportunity to visit www.stj500choirs.com to participate in the Carmelite virtual choirs for the 500th anniversary celebrations of St. Teresa.

So far well over 140 Carmelites have submitted vocal tracks from 14 nations including Australia, Belgium, China, Columbia, France, Indonesia, Netherlands, Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, the Republic of Mauritus (off the coast of South Africa), the United Kingdom and the United States. Thank you to each contributor for leading the way and inspiring us to follow!

We are particularly in need of male voices for the Salve Regina and Soprano I voices among the women for both choirs. Once again we are happy to extend an invitation to all our OCDS members and affiliated Orders to join in singing in the Salve Regina! Don’t worry that you can’t sing well enough or that your computer sound quality is inadequate. The producer can enhance the quality of the recording once he receives it. Together we can make a beautiful choir of praise to God in honor of St. Teresa, our foundress and friend!

May God bless you with a voice to sing his praises!
