It is with great gratitude that the Carmelite Institute announces a large bequest from the Estate of Vivian P. Freitas. Mrs. Freitas was a great supporter of Carmelite Spirituality and her gift will ensure that the Carmelite Institute can continue to support educational and spiritual programming for all who pursue a life in Carmel. In gratitude to Mrs. Freitas, the Order of Carmelites will offer a novena of Masses, and the Carmelite Institute will honor her at our Spring lecture.
