This presentation will explore the concept in Carmelite spirituality as expressed by St. Teresa of Avila that “God walks among the pots and pans” or in the terribly ordinary moments of our lives. Specially we will focus on primarily on three symbols which provide each of us the opportunity to encounter our God: the cell or our interior self, silence, and “wrestling with God.”
