The Carmelite Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Joan Knetemann as Executive Director of the Carmelite Institute. Joan has a Master’s Degree in Spirituality from the Washington Theological Union, and spent a semester studying Carmelite Spirituality with Rev. Patrick McMahon, O.Carm., Ph.D. Â Before coming to the Carmelite Institute, Joan worked as Director of Institutional Advancement for the Washington Theological Union. The Carmelite Institute is confident that Joan’s advancement skills bring great hope and enthusiasm for the Institute’s successful growth.
