MEET THE RETREAT MASTER
Monsignor Harrington, V.E. is Vicar for Communications for the Diocese of Brooklyn. He is responsible for overseeing the Diocesan Public Information Office, Government Affairs and Public Policy Office, the NET (a NYC cable station), as well as the Tablet (a local newspaper). He was appointed to this position in December 2006. Before that he was Director of Government Affairs for the Diocese and a leader of early efforts to bring Education Tax Credit legislation to the forefront of public policy discussions in Albany. Msgr. Harrington is the Administrator of St. Joseph’s Church in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a degree in Philosophy. Monsignor holds a Masters of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception and a Masters of Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business.
