I was born in Albert Lea, MN a smaller city located near the Iowa border. I graduated from high school in 1978 moved to the Minneapolis Area and began a 30 year career working in health care 20 years as a nursing assistant and 10 years at Hennepin County Medical Center as an Office Specialist. For another 10 years I balanced three jobs, working for Target Corporation as a team lead, as a receptionist in a small business and cleaning houses on my days off. I graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Fine Arts. In 2012 I entered Carmel of the Sacred Heart Monastery and professed Solemn Vows in 2018. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, working with clay and weaving.
