Dr. Anita M. Hessenauer, T.O.C. is an active member of the community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Dublin, Ohio. She has a Doctorate in French Literature from the Université de Strasbourg, France. She has taught at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan and at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.  Her article on “The Paradoxical Nature of Silence in Inter-Personal Relationships” was published in the March 2016 edition of the Carmelite Review. Dr. Hessenauer has also published several articles in literary journals.
