The Carmelite Nuns in Baltimore are planning a year-long program of events to celebrate the 5th Centenary of Saint Teresa’s Birth. The program will be introduced with a lecture by Rowan Williams, 104th Archbishop of Canterbury and noted Teresian scholar, on April 4, 2014. The formal opening of the program will take place the weekend of October 11-12, 2014, with a Concert by folk/gospel artists Kim & Reggie Harris and a special Sunday Eucharistic liturgy. The program will end on October 18, 2015 with a closing Sunday Eucharist.  The events include special lectures and other events. Baltimore Carmel has a brochure listing all the events, and they will also be posted on CarmelStream’s 2015 Teresa page.
